CTL Celebration Ceremony
I was honoured to help the HGMI shape their Community Transformational Leadership (CTL) program with a Kingdom centric mindset. Having community as the focus, not the Sunday gathering.
The 2 year program aimed to empower individuals to become catalysts for change within their own communities. With an emphasis on mentorship, biblical studies and practical training. It’s been so successful! It’s amazing to hear the testimonies and see how the program has been transforming the leaders, empowering them to reach their communities.
As you may know, we also had the privilege of raising sponsorship to support 12 of the leaders through the program. We are so grateful to the donors for championing them.
A Celebration Ceremony was held on the 14th August 2023, where 24 leaders received certificates for successfully completing the classroom training. The certificates were presented by László Surman, the Director General of Missions, and András Berki, the Vice-President. The program has now entered the field work stage where the CTL’s will continue to be supported in their communities over the next few months.
One of the outstanding elements of the training was the Mentoring Program, which helped participants to develop into mentors themselves, who are able to guide others in their faith journey. Other topics studied included Ministry, Homiletics, Christian Living, Spiritual Gifts and Evangelism. These subjects assisted participants to find their place within the church community and strengthened their Christian lifestyle. Studying the Old and New Testament provided a deeper understanding of the Scripture, enabling participants to better grasp God’s message and apply it to their own lives. The Basics of Bible Study I and II taught them various methods and techniques for studying the Bible effectively and sharing it with others.
The HGMI are doing an incredible job equipping the Roma to make disciples.
We believe with the HGMI that God will continue to uplift the Roma people, make them pioneers, bringing blessings to Hungary and Europe!
