Ukraine Relief Projects
Like the rest of the world, we were moved by the War in Ukraine and the mass exodus of refugees. We decided to fundraise for those we knew working inside Ukraine and in Poland to help the refugees.
In April, we were able to send over £7,000 to aid their relief efforts.
These were the activities these donations supported.
Inside Ukraine
A Pastor and 3 church planters providing relief efforts in Kharkiv and Lviv. These activities included evacuating people from Khrakiv to Poltava and Svitlovodsk.
Running distribution centres and providing mini centres in Poltava and Svitlovodsk where people are given a place to stay, food and clothing.
In Poland
KDM Krakow (Church for the City) are working with Prepare International and are providing food and accommodation for refugees.
They have around 850 refugees across different venues and the cost for one refugee for a month is £640. They also provide practical help and food.
