Global Transformation Update August 2020

2020 has been an unusual year for Ian, instead of extensive travel and 100’s of days on the road. Ian has adjusted to life at home and finding innovative ways to challenge the church to meet the needs of its community and demonstrate the Kingdom despite the lockdown.

Highlights Include:

• Creating Global Transformation TV Programmes: 

Ian and his Producer Darius Cornean are working on a pilot program to create interest in the transformational series. Thanks to zoom they have been interviewing contacts across Europe, who have inspirational transformation stories to tell. When safe to do so they will travel to film their stories.

• Global Transformation Curriculum:

The outline draft has been completed as Ian continues to work with Brian Beattie, Bruce Mann, Bruce Friesen and Tom Rudmik to produce the Global curriculum in a usable format. They hope to have it completed by the end of the year.

• Mentoring:

Ian has been keeping up with his mentoring despite lockdown and has added even more contacts, which include a selection of NGO’s, CEO’s and business men and women whom he encourages and challenges.

He also continues to regularly connect and mentor the HGMI (Hungarian Gypsy Missions International) as they take over 3 Roma High Schools and set up a new pharmacy business to fund their missional activities and the Transformational Training school in Denmark.

• Networking & Fundraising:

Ian has also been contacted by a number of organisations who have asked him to put forward potential projects to receive funding for projects which have been set up to support their communities during the COVID 19 pandemic. Two projects Ian suggested, one from Poland and another from Italy, have already received funds.
